Seafood and Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce and Cheese Topping
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Other Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean surface or towel to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cooked shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, half of the Alfredo sauce, and minced garlic. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, mixing all ingredients thoroughly.
- Assemble the Roll-Ups: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Spoon the seafood and ricotta mixture evenly onto each lasagna noodle, then roll them up carefully. Place each roll-up seam-side down in the baking dish on top of the sauce.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the roll-ups. Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top to create a golden, bubbly crust when baked.
- Bake the Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden and the sauce is bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Allow the lasagna roll-ups to cool for a few minutes after baking. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Serve warm and enjoy the decadent seafood delight.
Notes
- Ensure the seafood is well-drained to avoid excess moisture in the filling.
- You can substitute Alfredo sauce with a homemade version for a fresher taste.
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling mixture.
- Make sure to lay noodles flat to prevent them from sticking together before rolling.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven for best results.
