For the Eggnog Dip
- 1 (3.4 ounce) box vanilla pudding mix
- 1 ½ cups (355 ml) eggnog
- 1 (8 ounce / 226 g) container Cool Whip whipped topping
- Pinch of ground nutmeg (for garnish)
For Serving
- Walkers Gingerbread Cookies or other assorted dippers such as fruit slices or graham crackers
- Combine Pudding Mix and Eggnog: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and eggnog until the mixture is smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken properly.
- Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the Cool Whip whipped topping until fully incorporated, creating a light and creamy dip.
- Chill the Dip: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled and set, at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Garnish and Serve: Just before serving, sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg over the top for a festive touch. Serve alongside gingerbread cookies or your favorite dippers.
Notes
- For a boozy twist, add a tablespoon of spiced rum or bourbon when folding in the whipped topping.
- Use light or sugar-free pudding mix and eggnog for a lower-calorie version.
- Store leftover dip covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Fruit like apple slices, pears, or strawberries make excellent gluten-free dippers.
