  • Powdered sugar – 2 tablespoons, for dusting
  • Black edible marker – 1, for drawing the smile
  • Candy eyes – 2 per figure

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate and vegetable shortening. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Assemble Base: Dip the bottom of one large marshmallow into the melted white chocolate, then place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Stack two additional marshmallows directly on top, forming the Stay Puft body.
  3. Coat and Decorate: Use a spoon or brush to thoroughly coat the entire marshmallow stack with the melted white chocolate, ensuring all surfaces are covered. While the chocolate is still wet, attach two candy eyes on the front for the character’s eyes.
  4. Finish and Detail: Lightly sprinkle powdered sugar all around the coated marshmallows to give a soft, snowy effect. Let the chocolate set and harden completely. Once hardened, use the black edible marker to carefully draw a friendly smile on the marshmallow figure.
