Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup Marshmallow Fluff
  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons hot cocoa mix (about 4 packets, 1.38 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

For Serving (Optional)

  • Whipped cream
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Holiday sprinkles
  • Oreos, graham crackers, shortbread cookies, peppermint sandwich cookies, and/or whole strawberries (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Beat Cream Cheese and Marshmallow Fluff: In the large bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the room-temperature cream cheese and Marshmallow Fluff together on medium-high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
  2. Add Cocoa Ingredients: Add the hot cocoa mix, heavy cream, and unsweetened cocoa powder to the bowl. Beat on low speed until just combined, about 1 to 2 minutes, to avoid splattering.
  3. Whip Until Smooth: Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and continue beating the dip until it becomes smooth and the cocoa mix has fully dissolved, approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Serve: Transfer the hot cocoa fluff dip to a serving bowl. Optionally, top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and holiday sprinkles. Serve alongside your choice of cookies or fresh fruit for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing and a smooth texture.
  • Use good-quality hot cocoa mix for best flavor results.
  • The dip can be refrigerated for up to 3 days; bring to room temperature and stir before serving.
  • Feel free to customize dippers such as using different cookies or fresh fruits according to your preference.
  • For a thicker dip, reduce the heavy cream slightly; for a thinner dip, add a tablespoon more cream as needed.
