Ingredients

Scale

Yogurt Bites Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fruit puree (any fruit combination of your choice)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to keep the yogurt bites from sticking while they freeze.
  2. Make Fruit Puree: Using a food processor or high-speed blender, puree your chosen fruit combination until smooth. Repeat this step for each flavor you want if making multiple colors.
  3. Strain Seeds (Optional): To achieve a smoother texture, pass the fruit puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seeds.
  4. Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the pureed fruit, plain Greek yogurt, and honey until fully combined for a sweet and tangy mixture.
  5. Fill a Piping Bag: Pour the yogurt mixture into a quart-sized zippered plastic bag. Cut a tiny opening at one corner using scissors for controlled dispensing.
  6. Form Yogurt Bites: Pipe small bite-sized dollops onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart so they don’t touch. You can vary the size according to your preference. One batch of this mixture will fill a full baking tray.
  7. Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the bites set for at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Store: Transfer the frozen yogurt bites to an airtight, freezer-safe container or bag. They can be stored for 1 to 2 months. Only remove the amount you plan to eat immediately to avoid melting.

Notes

  • You can use any fruit puree you like – popular options include strawberry, mango, blueberry, or mixed berries.
  • If you want multiple colors or flavors, prepare each fruit puree separately and freeze them one batch at a time.
  • For a seedless texture, be sure to strain the puree before mixing it with yogurt.
  • Use plain Greek yogurt for the best creamy consistency and a balance of tangy flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to suit your taste.
  • These yogurt bites make a great healthy snack or dessert for kids and adults alike.
